🔻On the evening of Aban 13 and the first night after the announcement of the midterm election results in the United States, rallies against Donald Trump, the president of that country, were held in dozens of locations across Iran, including Tehran’s Enghelab Square.
At these rallies, participants set fire to a government banner featuring large images of J.D. Vance, Benjamin Netanyahu, Donald Trump, and Steve Witkoff. The gathering was held under the title “We will kill Trump.”
On Aban 13, a written message attributed to Mojtaba Khamenei was published, in which hoping for changes in party lines and for America to change its behavior was described as completely wrong. Some observers and commentators say that with changes in the balance of power in Washington, the shadow of war over Iran will lessen, but the reshuffling of military forces in the region has fueled speculation about the resumption of fighting in the Persian Gulf.
