Alireza Solaymi, a member of the board of directors of the Parliament, told the Iran Watch site: “Leadership has not only raised the issue of revenge, but the matter of retribution (qisas) has also been raised alongside revenge. The Parliament’s view is on revenge and retribution. The sentence for the perpetrators is like that for Salman Rushdie, and the leaders of the United States and Israel are deemed as having their blood shed and are obligatory to be killed.”

He added: “They will not die in peace, and every night they must see nightmares.”

Solaymi further said: “Some countries in the region have been put in line, and some of them will soon be put in line too. Those who handed over the heavens and the earth to the enemy are considered a legitimate target.”
