A senior Israeli official told Iran International that the meeting between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu was “extraordinary,” and that both sides reviewed three options regarding the Islamic Republic: a nuclear deal, continued economic pressure along with limited attacks, or the launch of a broader military campaign. He said the two sides have the same goal, and the final decision will be made by Trump.

The official said Israel assesses that thousands of centrifuges are located at the underground facility “Koh Kalang,” but that uranium enrichment is not currently being carried out at this site.

He said the Islamic Republic is concerned about the possibility of U.S. ground operations and currently has only a limited number of operational missiles at its disposal, and its missile production capacity has virtually stopped.

The official also described the Islamic Republic as being in the “worst economic and political situation” and said that economic pressures and mass executions indicate the government’s concern about its citizens.
