🔻Spokesman for the Board of Directors of Iran’s Parliament: Withdrawal from the NPT and Revising the “Easy and Within Reach” Nuclear Doctrine

Abbas Goudarzi, spokesperson for the Board of Directors of Iran’s Parliament, said that “withdrawal from the NPT and revision of the nuclear doctrine” is completely “easy and within reach.”

According to him, the Islamic Republic’s disagreement with the United States is “inherent and foundational,” and “those who talk about peace with the United States are seeking to prescribe and impose a version of submission.”

Mr. Goudarzi said that “against the United States, only the language of force and the logic of power works,” and that “any negotiation that weakens the resistance front and gives the enemy room to breathe is a strategic mistake and an unforgivable sin.”

This comes as Donald Trump today once again said that Iran is strongly seeking a deal.

The International Atomic Energy Agency, in a resolution approved last week, referred Iran’s nuclear file to the UN Security Council after about two decades.
