Mohsen Hashemi, the former head of the Tehran City Council, said that Islamic Republic officials used metro stations as office space during the 12-day war and the 40-day war.
Hashemi, in an interview with reporters, said: “I have information that during the 12-day and 40-day wars, officials used metro stations for office space and these kinds of things.”
These remarks are being made while, during these wars, officials of the Islamic Republic did not present any safe locations or public shelters to protect citizens in cities and provinces across the country.
Meanwhile, on September 20, a citizen, by posting a video of the damage to his house in the Vahdat town in Karaj, during clashes between the Islamic Republic and Israel and the United States, said that even after several months his house is still destroyed. He said about the reason his house was targeted: “Ask those same people who, in the span of one minute, had a Kalashnikov on our heads.”
The Vahdat town in Alborz province was targeted on Esfand 19. A news agency affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reported that the attack left three dead and 33 injured.
