As the livelihoods of millions of Iranian citizens are threatened by an economic crisis, inflation and budget deficits, Reuters reported that the Islamic Republic last month provided Lebanon’s Hezbollah with $200 million in cash aid to be distributed among those affected by the war. Citing two sources, Reuters said that 50,000 families affected in Lebanon will receive $3,000 each.
