◾A drone attack on Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities, which Riyadh attributed to groups supported by the Islamic Republic in Iraq, has sparked a wave of condemnation across Arab and Islamic countries.

◾According to a statement by a military source to the Saudi official news agency, the country’s air defenses intercepted and destroyed six drones launched toward the Eastern Province and three drones launched toward Riyadh.

◾On Wednesday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on its official account on the X network, announced its “strongest condemnation” of the “reprehensible” drone attacks by groups supported by the Islamic Republic in Iraq, and called on Iraq to take the necessary steps so that its soil does not become a launchpad for aggression.
