The Popular Mobilization confirmed the killing of at least 20 of its members in attacks by the United States and Saudi Arabia;

The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Organization said at least 20 of its members were killed and 32 others were injured in joint attacks by the United States and Saudi Arabia. In a statement on Wednesday, the organization said its headquarters in Baghdad, Wasit, Nineveh, Basra, Kirkuk, Karbala, and Diyala were targeted, adding that the figures were preliminary and may increase.

After these attacks, Ali al-Faili al-Zaydi, prime minister and commander-in-chief of Iraq’s armed forces, ordered the convening of an emergency session of the National Security Council’s ministerial body.

U.S. Central Command said the operation was a response to more than 30 drone attacks directed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the past 72 hours.
