Videos received by Iran International show that on Saturday, 25 Mehr, a group of workers from the eight districts of Ahvaz Municipality gathered in protest over favoritism and bribery in the process of converting employment status.

The protesters, holding placards, demanded the direct payment of workers’ wages without intermediaries and the elimination of contracting companies.
