Eamid Ma'marayan, a political analyst, said that the U.S. goal is not only the destruction of Iran’s military and nuclear facilities, but also that Washington wants to change the Islamic Republic officials’ calculations regarding the cost of continuing resistance.

According to him, the U.S. is trying to convey the message that continuing resistance may be possible, but it could come at the price of the destruction of the Islamic Republic.
