Vance: The United States is seeking to eliminate the possibility of reviving Iran’s nuclear program

🔸JD Vance, the vice president of the United States, says the United States has destroyed three major nuclear facilities in Iran, and is currently seeking to prevent the revival of Tehran’s nuclear program.

🔸He made these remarks on Monday, 30 Shahrivar, in an interview with the “Newsmax” network.

🔸Vance said: “We destroyed their nuclear facilities—especially three nuclear facilities—in an extremely remarkable tactical attack... Now the question is to ensure that they cannot rebuild their nuclear program.”

🔸The U.S. vice president added: “Here, there really is a two-stage process; can Iran, if it wants, build a nuclear weapon tomorrow? No. Can Iran, if it wants, build a nuclear weapon within six months or a year? No.”

🔸JD Vance continued by saying that now Donald Trump wants to ensure that the Islamic Republic does not have the resources and infrastructure needed to rebuild its nuclear program, and that it can no longer build a nuclear weapon.

🔸The remarks come weeks after the implementation of new economic restrictions by the United States on the Islamic Republic, which, in an operation called “economic expulsion,” has brought other countries into alignment with increasing pressure on the Islamic Republic or is trying to bring them into alignment.

🔸In the same interview, the U.S. vice president also attributed Iran’s actions in creating “fear and terror for international shipping” to the rise in energy prices in the world, and said the U.S. government is trying to counter these actions so as to prevent fuel prices from rising and to reduce pressure on people in the United States.
