🔻US officials: If Israel does not leave Gaza, Trump will be “very disappointed”

US government officials who had participated in a meeting with journalists earlier tonight, in response to the question of how much they hope Israel will agree to leave Gaza after Hamas is disarmed, said:

“ We are not asking Israel for anything beyond its adherence to the 20-point plan that it previously agreed to. Therefore, we have a great deal of confidence that Israel will remain committed to this agreement.”

The officials added that if Israel refuses to leave Gaza within the framework of the 20-point plan, Donald Trump, the president of the United States, “will be very disappointed.”

As we reported to you here earlier tonight, Hamas has said it agrees to complete disarmament that was approved in the Gaza peace delegation.
