The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said that U.S. and Saudi Arabian military forces carried out precise attacks in Iraq on Wednesday against “terrorist” forces aligned with the Islamic Republic, whose IRGC had directed them to attack American forces and Saudi Arabia’s energy infrastructure.

According to CENTCOM, U.S. and Saudi Arabian fighter jets targeted several logistical hubs and weapons storage locations of these “terrorist” forces in eastern Iraq.

CENTCOM said the strikes were a decisive response to more than 30 drone attacks in the past 72 hours, which were directed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
