Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, condemned the continuation of attacks by militants affiliated with the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq against oil facilities in Saudi Arabia.

Kuwait described these attacks as evidence of the determination of these groups to intensify tensions and undermine the security and stability of the region, and also, by announcing its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, emphasized that Saudi Arabia has the right to defend its security and interests.

Kuwait noted that the security of Saudi Arabia is an inseparable part of the security of the Kuwaiti state and the member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
