The United States and Saudi Arabia targeted Iran-backed terrorist positions in Iraq

Tampa, Florida — On July 28, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and Saudi Arabia’s armed forces carried out precision airstrikes in Iraq against Iran-aligned terrorist groups that were directed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to attack American forces and Saudi energy infrastructure.

American and Saudi fighter jets targeted several logistical and weapons hubs of the terrorists in eastern Iraq. The strikes came in response to more than 30 drone attacks carried out over the past 72 hours by terrorist groups under the guidance of the IRGC.

The unjustified attacks against U.S. forces were unsuccessful.

From February to April 2026, more than 600 attempts to attack U.S. citizens and facilities were carried out by Iran-aligned terrorist militias in Iraq.

The IRGC and its terrorist proxy groups must stop these attacks to prevent further military responses from the United States.
