U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) published an image of an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter taking off from the deck of the guided-missile destroyer “John Paul Jones.”

According to CENTCOM, the helicopter is operating in support of the implementation of the U.S. naval blockade against the Islamic Republic.

CENTCOM also announced that, by Mehr 17, U.S. forces have rerouted 133 commercial vessels to ensure compliance with this blockade.
