🔻Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of using cluster munitions again in its night-time attacks on Kyiv and several other regions of Ukraine.

According to a statement by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, at least four people were killed in these attacks. Zelensky said on Thursday that 34 others, including five children, were also injured.

The attacks were carried out hours after Russia released Steven Hubbard, an American citizen imprisoned in the country.

U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff also met with Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, and called him a “humanitarian”; a remark that has sparked reactions and criticism.
