Attack on Russian logistical targets; Zelensky called for faster delivery of Patriot systems

🔸Ukraine and Russia once again carried out, throughout the night, a wave of drone attacks against each other’s logistical centers, energy facilities, and civilian infrastructure.

🔸At the same time, Volodymyr Zelensky, president of Ukraine, expressed dissatisfaction with the delays by Western allies in delivering Patriot air defense systems and other military assistance required.

🔸Ukraine continued its campaign to target Wildberries, Russia’s largest online retailer, with airstrikes; this time, it targeted a warehouse of the company in the Vladimir region of Russia. Regional officials and the company itself confirmed the occurrence of the attack.

🔸The company announced on August 3: “As a result of an attack, a fire broke out at the company’s logistics center in the Vladimir region, and people were evacuated.” No casualties have been reported yet.

🔸The attack took place one day after drones targeted a Wildberries warehouse in the Samara region, a region located about 800 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. The regional governor and videos released on the internet confirmed the attack.

🔸In recent weeks, Ukrainian forces have targeted around a dozen Wildberries warehouses in different regions of Russia. Ukraine accuses the company of supporting Russia’s military supplies and, by selling dual-use goods, helping Moscow’s war efforts. Moscow has rejected these accusations.
