🔶 UK Maritime Operations reports attack on a ship near Yemen

The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that an unidentified projectile hit a cargo vessel in the southern Red Sea, near the shores of Al-Makha in Yemen.

According to the organization, a cargo ship in the southern Red Sea was hit by an unidentified projectile, which resulted in casualties.

The UK Maritime Trade Operations, by stating that authorities are investigating the matter, advised vessels to pass with caution and to report any suspicious activity to the organization.

Earlier on Tuesday, the UK Maritime Trade Operations had announced that it had received a report regarding an incident involving a cargo vessel and military forces in the Gulf of Oman; the report was published after the vessel type was changed from an oil tanker to a cargo ship.

Maritime security sources say it is believed that the ship was hit by a missile near the coast of Pakistan.
