UK counter-terrorism police have detained a British-Iranian dual citizen in connection with the RAF Fairford airbase case and on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts.

Police in the UK said the possible involvement of a foreign state, including the axis, is among the lines of investigation. The UK prime minister had previously said there are strong indications of the Islamic Republic’s role in this case.
