▪U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said in reaction to remarks by a Revolutionary Guards commander about the Strait of Hormuz being closed and the Islamic Republic having “complete control” over this waterway, that the claim was “false.” It announced that the Strait of Hormuz remains open and ships continue to transit through it.
