The launch of the US Cargo Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS) as part of the 35th commercial cargo resupply mission will take place no earlier than October 13, the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) reported.

“NASA and SpaceX are targeting no earlier than Tuesday, October 13 to launch scientific investigations, supplies, and equipment to the International Space Station,” the US space agency said in a statement on its website.

The spacecraft will launch from Cape Canaveral in Florida and deliver more than 2.8 tons of cargo to the ISS, including materials for studying the effects of microgravity on the growth and function of three-dimensional heart tissue models.
