📍 U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the formation of a special task force called “Iron Gate”

The stated purpose of forming this task force, which consists of 20 members, is to prevent armed groups from being financed, rebuild arms factories, and restore the Islamic Republic’s military capabilities.

By expanding these operations from the sea to land routes and the Caspian Sea, the United States is trying to limit routes for the transfer of weapons and revenues resulting from circumventing sanctions.
