◾ Linda McMahon, U.S. Secretary of Education, in a letter addressed to the presidents of universities and members of the boards of trustees of American higher education institutions, asked them to publish a public statement by the end of 2026 in which they would declare their commitment to carrying out a set of reforms aimed at improving the quality of higher education and rebuilding public trust.
