Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister, and Yoav Gallant, defense minister, held a high-level security meeting after today’s deadly incident in southern Lebanon.

In the incident in southern Lebanon, 2 Israeli army soldiers were killed and 7 others were injured.

It has been reported that this unit of the Israeli army, during an operation, was targeted by a bombing attributed to Hezbollah.

The Israeli army has reportedly submitted a request for approval for a “sensitive operation,” which requires authorization at the political level.
