Jared Kushner, former U.S. District Attorney for the Southern District of New York and former chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, was officially sworn in as the Director of National Intelligence of the United States and took charge of coordinating the activities of the country’s 18 intelligence agencies.
