🔻Threat by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in response to Trump and Netanyahu’s remarks
🔻Just an hour after Donald Trump’s “full and complete” endorsement of Benjamin Netanyahu and the leaders of the two countries’ emphasis on joint cooperation in dealing with Iran, officials in Tehran reacted.
Hosein Mahdavi, a spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said in threatening remarks on Sunday: “Any attack on Iran’s energy infrastructure, although it will be immediately repaired by our brilliant youth, will turn the occupied territories into a scorched land forever, and will drive those invaders to flee the Sinai desert. The world will see what will happen!”
An hour before these remarks, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, in a message on the social network said that, referring to Iran and Donald Trump’s new remarks, “together we will get the job done” in the coming years.
Earlier, Trump, on the Truth Social social network, while emphasizing his “full and complete” support for Benjamin Netanyahu, wrote that the Islamic Republic of Iran has been chanting for “51 years”: “Death to Israel, death to America. We will destroy the great and small devils.”
The U.S. president added: “It was only a matter of time for Iran to put these evil statements into action, but they have been systematically destroyed militarily and financially, and if they do not quickly change their behavior, we will get the job done very soon.”
