🔻Omani airline resumes flights to Iran after months of suspension
The Imam Khomeini International Airport Company says that round-trip flights by the airline “SalamAir” between Muscat and Tehran have resumed as of today (Sunday) after months of suspension.
According to this report, the airline is scheduled to operate two flights per week on this route.
During last year’s protests, SalamAir suspended its flights to Iran.
SalamAir is the second foreign airline to resume its flights after the U.S. sanctions against Iranian airlines.
Iraq’s airline (Al Iraqiyeh) also resumed flights Tehran–Najaf and vice versa a few days ago after a brief pause.
