🔸The U.S. president once again emphasized the importance of his action in “preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.”

🔸Donald Trump, in a new post on his social media platform, Truth Social, wrote: “If I hadn’t stopped Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, there would be no Israel today, and, in fact, no Middle East.”

🔸The U.S. president continued by writing: “No one is willing to say this out loud, but everyone knows it’s true.”

🔸Over the past few days since the U.S. midterm elections and the remarkable defeat of the Republicans in both chambers of Congress—namely the House of Representatives and the Senate—many prominent Republican figures, and even some among people very close to the U.S. president, have cited the Iran war as the main factor behind the party’s electoral defeat.

🔸In one of the most important cases, J.D. Vance, Trump’s deputy, published a 600-word message on the X platform in which he explicitly stated that the Iran war was behind this issue—an issue that led the U.S. president himself to implicitly acknowledge the impact of the Iran war on election results.
