The Saudi Arabian newspaper Al Sharq Al-Awsat reported that if the Democrats win the election for the U.S. House of Representatives, the political cost of escalating confrontation with Iran for Donald Trump, the president of the United States, will increase.

Emirati media also warned that a possible escalation of tensions with the Islamic Republic could push the price of oil to $120 per barrel.
