Prince Reza Pahlavi’s office said Abolfazl Abrahimi and Amirhossein Maleki, two 20-year-old protesters detained in Dey 1404, are in immediate danger of execution, and their families have been summoned to Isfahan’s Dastgerd Prison for their final visit. In the Ali Kani Field case, 12 death sentences have been issued, seven of which have been carried out so far.
Navid Mohabi, a political analyst, said that the execution of protesters is carried out through unfair judicial processes, with the aim of revenge and to create fear in society. He stressed that the continuation of these executions could increase, at the international level, demands for accountability from the judges, prosecutors, and other officials in the cases.
