The Russian government is preparing to extend its ban on diesel exports until the end of January 2027, with a number of exceptions to be made for global markets, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced.

Russia plans to export 510,000 tonnes of diesel in October and 2.15 million tonnes in November. There are sufficient stocks of winter-grade diesel in Russia, Novak added.
