🔻The mother of the late Javidnam Mohsen Abbasi, by posting a video on Instagram, announced her ascent to Mount Damavand and wrote: “Everyone says Mohsen flew to the skies and went. I stood up, packed my bag for love, and set off for the tallest peak in the Middle East, Damavand. With every step, with every breath, I was thinking of you. Anyone I met along the way would ask: whose photo is on your clothes—on your chest? With pride I would say: my son, my life’s hero, my Javidnam. Many would hold me in their arms, and many also shouted loudly: Long live the hero.”

🔹She also wrote: “After two days, I reached the summit, and that’s when I said: here, my Mohsen can finally hear my voice. I shouted your name, my son—full of a thousand hopes and wishes that maybe you will hear my voice and say yes again, mom. May your mother die, my son—for not living in your youth, for your wishes, for your oppression, for your kindness, for your silence, for your manliness and your honor.”

🔹Javidnam Mohsen Abbasi was killed at the age of 21 on Dey 18, 1404, during protests in Najafabad, Isfahan, by agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
