The Associated Press, citing two regional officials, reported that the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, has once again been targeted by an attack.
According to these officials, the airport was evacuated and flights were suspended.
The two officials, who did not want their names disclosed because they lacked permission to speak with the media, provided the Associated Press with information about the airport evacuation and the stopping of flights separately.
Ahmed Sayed, one of the residents of Riyadh, told the Associated Press that he heard at least two severe explosions that shook the Saudi capital.
The airport management also, in a statement, asked passengers to check the status of their flights with the airlines before heading toward the airport.
The attack came two days after the killing of three Saudi citizens, including a pilot, in another attack on the same airport by the Houthi forces supported by the Islamic Republic.
