The 81st UN General Assembly was, in terms of the extent to which the topic of Iran appeared in the speeches of leaders and officials around the world, a notable period.
An analysis of 194 speeches shows that in more than 66 cases—about 34%—they addressed Iran or crises related to it. That means that in nearly one out of every three speeches, Iran was somehow reached; even in the speeches of countries whose names are usually heard less in discussions related to Iran.
