On Sunday, 3 Aban 1405, a group of Social Security retirees in Ahvaz held a rally with the slogan “The proceeds of government work are the looting of the people’s pockets.” The protesting retirees demanded the full implementation of Articles 96 and 111 of the Social Security Law, the reform of rulings related to the harmonization of benefits, an increase in pensions, and attention to their livelihood and medical-care problems.
