🔻Sir Alex Ferguson, the legendary Manchester United manager, has spoken in his new book about death, physical troubles, and the possibility of not seeing the opening of the club’s new stadium.
🔹At 84 years old, Ferguson, in the book “My Life in Games,” which covers 21 important matches from his professional career, delved into his personal experiences in recent years. The death of his wife, Lady Cathy, and severe brain bleeding in 2018 changed his outlook on life.
🔹The Goal website, quoting Ferguson about death, wrote: “I’m not someone who constantly thinks about what the Creator has planned for me, and I’m not afraid of dying. Death is always with us, even in the most unexpected moments. I think more about making the most of life. There are still many things I want to do, and many people I want to spend time with.”
🔹He also said about Manchester United’s new stadium: “Every once in a while, death comes to mind. When United announced plans to build an absolutely outstanding new stadium to replace Old Trafford, I thought to myself, will I still be alive to celebrate its opening?”
