🔻Revolutionary Guards Navy commander: Americans are 600 to 700 kilometers away from the Strait of Hormuz
Ali Azimi, the commander of the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in remarks claimed that “Americans are not present in the Persian Gulf.” He said: “Today, Americans are not present in the Persian Gulf; they have moved 600 to 700 kilometers away from the Strait of Hormuz, and their vessels are not seen in this area.”
Ali Azimi added: “The United States no longer has any place in the Strait of Hormuz.”
Hours earlier, Donald Trump accused Iran of trying its utmost to raise the price of oil before the U.S. midterm elections by “fabricating news” about a mine explosion and attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
The U.S. president said that oil transiting through the Strait of Hormuz is now higher than it was before the war, and for that reason, Iran resorts to any measures to raise the price of oil.
Today, the price of a barrel of Brent oil reached above $113, the highest price of this commodity in the past five months.
