🔸Reuters reported on Monday, the 5th of Mordad, that following a shooting at a food festival in Seattle, at least two people were killed and five others, including a two-year-old child, were injured.

🔸Seattle police, confirming the report, said the shooting occurred at around 6 p.m. local time near the Space Needle tower in an area that hosted thousands of attendees at an annual food festival.

🔸Witness videos show people fleeing from the shooting. Witnesses told local media that they heard the sound of multiple gunshots and then the crowd at the festival left the area in fear.

🔸In a message on the X social media platform, Seattle police urged citizens to avoid the incident scene and said: “Several people have been shot, and the investigation into the shooting in Seattle Center continues.”

🔸So far, police have not released any information about the identity or number of the attackers, and it is unclear whether a person or persons with weapons have been detained or not, but Seattle’s mayor said that a suspect has been detained.
