According to IRNA, these explosions occurred at the headquarters of Kurdish opposition groups to the Iranian government.

As tensions have risen between Iran and the United States, the locations where these groups are based in Iraq have repeatedly been targeted by Iranian drone attacks, resulting in the deaths of several people.
