Todd Blanche is a star, and everyone knows it! He has the capacity to be recognized in history as one of the greatest attorneys general of all time. However, John Cornyn of Texas and Tom Tillis of North Carolina—both of whom I stripped of their campaign support and whose political careers ended with my action—refuse to vote for this great nominee, who, in any case, will remain as acting in his position. Remember, both Cornyn and Tillis voted for Merrick Garland and others as well, in numbers so large that it’s impossible to name them all. If they don’t do the right thing, I have no objection to temporarily removing Todd’s name and reintroducing him after Cornyn and Tillis leave office.
