🔻Local officials in Hormozgan Province say efforts to pull out members of a family that became trapped under rubble caused by an airstrike at dawn on Thursday are continuing on this island.

In recent hours, Iranian official news agencies have published video images of the rescue operation, which first continued in the darkness of night and later in the light of morning.

ISNA, quoting the head of Hormozgan’s Crisis Management Center, wrote: “Rescue operations for the incident of an attack on a residential home in the Chah-Tangoo neighborhood of Qeshm are ongoing.”

This local official told ISNA: “So far, two children have been pulled out from under the rubble and transferred to medical centers, and efforts to rescue the other three members of this family are continuing. The house was where a five-person family lived and, at the time the incident occurred, they were inside the building.”
