In its latest announcement, Qatar Airways said that its flights into and out of Saudi Arabia have been temporarily suspended.

In a statement it published on Monday on its website, the company said it is closely monitoring developments in Saudi Arabia in coordination with the relevant authorities and, given current conditions, has decided to temporarily stop flights to these two destinations.

Qatar Airways asked passengers to check the status of their flights by visiting the company’s website or using its application.

The airline emphasized that passenger and crew safety has always been its top priority.

Qatar Airways also said it will contact directly the passengers whose flights are affected by this decision and will publish the latest information and updates on its website.
