Prince Reza Pahlavi’s office, with a warning about the imminent execution risk facing Shahab Zahdi—a protester who was arrested in the month of Dey and is being held in Qezelhesar Prison in Alborz—wrote: “Be his voice. Don’t let the Islamic Republic’s killing machine take another innocent life.”

Shahab Zahdi was first sentenced to death in Bahman 1404, but the Islamic Republic’s Supreme Court later overturned the ruling. In this same case, four other citizens named Mohammadamin Biglari, Shain Vahidparast, Amirhossein Hatami, and Ali Fahim were executed, and now Shahab Zahdi is once again facing the imminent risk of the execution sentence being carried out.
