Prince Reza Pahlavi, by publishing a post on X, addressed the President of Colombia in reaction to the country’s decision to sever diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic. He wrote: “The Iranian people will never forget those who stood with them in the fight for freedom.”

Prince Reza Pahlavi wrote: “The Iranian nation is grateful to you and to the people of Colombia for your principled decision to cut diplomatic ties with the Islamic Republic. Colombia has taken a clear stance against terrorism, transnational crimes, and the systematic violation of human rights by the Islamic Republic.”

Prince Reza Pahlavi added: “I look forward to the day when a free Iran and Colombia build strong relations and enduring friendship based on the shared values of freedom, security, and democracy. Long live Iran.”
