Prince Reza Pahlavi, on Wednesday, 13 Aban, addressed European officials at a press conference at the European Parliament, saying: “It is better to invest in the people of Iran rather than to hope for a change in the behavior of the Islamic Republic. All parties in Europe and the United States should support the struggle of the people of Iran.”

He added that in recent months, during a trip to European countries and meetings with officials of those countries, he has seen a clear understanding of the threat posed by the Islamic Republic to the security of different countries.

Pahlavi also said that the majority of members of the European parliaments agree on this point that Iran deserves a secular democracy, not a theocratic government of the Islamic Republic.
