🔻A Portuguese site, A Bola, reported that Rafael Leão, a Galatasaray forward, will wear Cristiano Ronaldo’s No. 7 shirt in Thursday’s Portugal match against Denmark in the UEFA Nations League.

Ronaldo left the Portugal national team camp one day before the match. This decision was made by UEFA.

🔹The regulations of the UEFA Nations League stipulate that players whose names are included on the match roster must have numbers from 1 to 23. Therefore, the Portugal national team had no choice but to hand over the shirt that Cristiano Ronaldo had “inherited” from Luís Figo.
