Pete Hegseth, the U.S. Secretary of War, said while criticizing some of the country’s media during the war with the Islamic Republic that the disclosure of classified information has put U.S. military forces at risk and called the act “treason.”

Speaking in a speech to U.S. Navy Marines, Hegseth also announced the creation of an autonomous warfare command with the participation of Elon Musk and the holding of a nationwide competition to host the next U.S. base.
