🔻After backing off from signing Yann Diomande and giving way to Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain has sharply questioned the financial policies of the Spanish club and criticized the “astronomical and extravagant” amounts the Whites are willing to pay.

🔹The French outlet L’Équipe, citing a source familiar with the club, wrote: “In the end, they wanted mind-boggling figures; for a player who, although he has great potential, was playing in Spain’s second division a year ago. We do not change our policies and empty our bank account just because a club enters the race with controversy and noise.”

🔹PSG officials, emphasizing that they will not repeat past mistakes in paying unreal amounts, added about the conduct of the Madrid side: “This behavior shows what position Real Madrid is in today.”

🔹PSG, which had made Diomande its main summer target, did not enter a price war in response to Leipzig’s €120 million asking price and opened the way for the Madrid club.
