🔺 Pakistan’s airstrikes in Afghanistan leave at least 10 dead
▪ Following nighttime airstrikes by Pakistan on two Afghan provinces, Kabul officials said that in these bombardments, 10 civilians—most of them women and children—were killed and at least 10 others were injured.
▪ Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Taliban government in Afghanistan, said the airstrikes hit the homes of civilians in the southern province of Helmand and the eastern province of Kunar, destroying three houses. He announced the initial death toll as nine women and children killed and 11 people injured.
▪ Pakistan’s Ministry of Information said on Thursday that the country’s attacks targeted the hidden positions of militants in two areas, and initial reports indicated that 22 militants had been killed.
